No. 559 Close to Wall Staple Tool

This close to wall stapling tool can manually staple ¾" solid hardwood planks generally within one board width of the wall. It reduces the need for gluing the planks close to the wall, or top nailing and puttying work. The padded base rests safely on top of the planks, and the back foot rests on the subfloor, so that the tongue is protected from impact. Insert a staple in the channel and hammer it using the unique offset driver. Works with 16 gauge (½" crown) solid hardwood plank staples for ¾” thick solid hardwood planks. The front of the tool includes a staple separator for separating individual staples from the brick. Net weight: 1 ¾ lbs.

No. 553 Engineered Wood Stapling Tool

This adjustable stapling tool works close to walls and adjusts to a wide variety of engineered plank thicknesses. It staples close to the wall to reduce gluing or top nailing and puttying work. Generally works to within the width of one board from the wall. Adjusts to different plank thicknesses from 3/8" to 3/4" in two easy steps. Place the tool's back foot on the subfloor and the stapling nose on the tongue. Drop the adjustable front foot plate onto the top surface of the plank and tighten. Insert a staple in the channel and hammer it into the subfloor using the unique offset driver. Takes 18 gauge (1/4" crown) staples. The tool includes a staple separator for separating individual staples. Net weight 2 lbs.

No. 558 Staple Set Tool

This hand held stapling tool manually drives staples and L-shaped cleats made for ¾" solid hardwood planks. It can finish off staples and L-shaped cleats after misfires of the nailer. It can manually drive staples and L-shaped cleats in tight areas where nailers don't fit, and is a fast solution for repair work without the need for a compressor. After hammering, it sets the fastener flush with the side of the plank. All steel body and driver with a tough polyurethane tip. Works with 16 gauge (½" crown) solid hardwood plank staples and 16 gauge L-shaped cleats for ¾” thick solid hardwood planks. Net weight: 1 ½ lbs.
