The Opto Power Tacker has a ruggedized electronic con- trol board with an optical sensor that fires in response to a tough sliding trigger. Eliminates delicate mechanical microswitches, which frequently required replacement. The long, slender nose parts yarns and gets down to the carpet's backing. The short height, narrow profile, and rounded cap allow stapling in tight areas. Powerful 11 AMP solenoid drives staples even into hardwoods. Preci- sion jam-resistant magazine is rigidly mounted and opens with a release button. Once open, the staple channel is accessible to clear jams.
